10.13.07, Jeff & Mary's wedding

Yesterday was Jeff & Mary's gorgeous Fall wedding. I arrived at Ferrysburg Community Church and helped out with getting everyone dressed, flowers in hand, and ready for pictures.

I had to make my way to the reception right away to set up a bit more, so I didn't get to see their vows, but I know everyone looked gorgeous! I arrived at Fruitport Golf Club to light 200+ candles and guests started arriving before I knew it. The wedding party took the trolley to Grand Haven for some photos and they were there by 6:30. Mary looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero Grace Lynette dress and the bridesmaids all wore the infamous Bill Levkoff tea-length gown in taupe with a champagne sash. The men were in black tuxes, black vests and bright green ties. Gorgeous!

Some of the details
The Flowers Shelly Johnson from Shelly Designs Florists did an amazing job on all the flowers. Mary went with a green color scheme and everything was amazing. Lots & lots of flowers were everywhere and it really set the tone for an elegant wedding.

The Photog Mary & Jeff hired Daniel J Pesta to do their photography. I am anxious to see how they all turned out! He doesn't keep a blog, so I didn't get a 'day after' shot I was hoping for! Bummer!

The Reception When I walked into the Fruitport Golf Club I was amazed by the beautiful room. The facility is only 6 years old! Tons of windows, and a beautiful entry! It was fabulous! The event manager, Robbi, was so nice to work with. She was so helpful and helped with anything I had a question with.

The Caterers The manager, Bobbi, at Hearthstone Catering did a great job serving all 211 guests. The food was hot and delicious. The menu included appetizers (which I didn't have time to check out!), a dinner buffet with manicotti, chicken and prime rib and all the sides.

The "cake" Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Mary & Jeff decided to serve cheesecake from Aunt Sally's Cheesecake (I cannot find a website for them.) They had about 20 beautiful cheesecakes displayed on a buffet, beautifully presented. I tried the classic cheesecake with a fruit topping--kiwi, raspberry, blueberry and strawberry--and it was beyond amazing!

I'm hoping to get a couple pro pictures from the photog, so if I do, I will post some.

Thanks, Jeff & Mary, for including me in your beautiful day! I had a great time :)

Tami--those are my new silver pearls. I love them and they go with practically everything I own. I think they'll eventually become a part of my signature look :)
