Months ago, Tifany Wunschl of Gourmet Invitations, contacted me about her gorgeous invitation designs. I took one look at her blog and was hooked . She does amazing work--everything from invitations and place cards to seating charts and menus. She recently did a black + white damask wedding and sent me the pro photos from the lovely Dionne from The Shooting Gallery. The above photos are from the recent wedding of Marcy + Matt. I also had the pleasure of doing a little Q+A with Tifany :: enjoy!

Pearls Events :: How long have you been in business?
Tifany @ Gourmet Invitations :: Since 2001, but I changed the name and reorganized in 2005.

Pearls Events :: How many invites do you typically do a year?
Tifany @ Gourmet Invitations :: A lot!!! I have over 100 clients this year.

Pearls Events :: How did you get started?
Tifany @ Gourmet Invitations :: My own wedding got me started. How I got into this is a mystery even to me. I have a math degree and I totally missed my calling somewhere in school to go into design.

Pearls Events :: What is the best thing about owning your own business?
Tifany @ Gourmet Invitations :: That I get to do something I love every day and stay at home raising my son. I am so lucky--busy, but extremely lucky.

Pearls Events :: What did you want to be when you grew up?
Tifany @ Gourmet Invitations :: I was going to be an actuary. :)

Pearls Events :: Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Tifany @ Gourmet Invitations :: In 10 years - gosh, I can't see to next month! But, I hope to still have a growing business that I love and look forward to doing from the moment I wake up.

Pearls Events :: What is your favorite vacation spot?
Tifany @ Gourmet Invitations :: Favorite vacation ever was French Polynesia - particularly Rangirora where we spent three days with no electricity and no warm water. My favorite place in the world is Sedona, Arizona. If I could live anywhere, I'd live in a canyon out there.
