My day started at 4pm when I picked up the flowers from Andicott Fresh Flower Market. I arrived at Frederik Meijer Gardens and began setting up their reception room with centerpieces + candles galore. The ladies at Frederik Meijer Gardens were amazing to work with--one of the best venues I've worked with to date. Everyone was attentive and able to help when the bride + groom had a request.

Dana + Joe were married in the conservatory of the Frederik Meijer Gardens. Dana wore an amazing Vera Wang gown--the silk was like butter. It was a sweet ceremony, and guests were free to roam the grounds before cocktail hour began. Taste of the Gardens provided warm and cold appetizers to guests as they entered the room. The bride + groom greeted their guests on the terrace, which worked out well because the evening ended up being gorgeous--the rain held out for us all night!

Dinner was served, and then the fabulous cake from Sweet Cakes Designs was cut. Dana also had an R2-D2 groom's cake on display, which was completely adorable. (I believe they were going to enjoy that today with friends.) And if that wasn't enough, there was a dessert buffet for guests as well.

Dana + Joe kicked off the dancing, followed by Dana + her dad. Guests danced until the end of the night, and everyone had a fun time--I think guests were throwing an after party as well--no one wanted to go home.
