back from vacation

If you follow me on Twitter, you might have noticed I spent the week in Northern Michigan. Since last week's wedding of Daisy + Greg was in Glen Arbor, it was the perfect opportunity to visit our family's condo in Charlevoix. Greg and I bummed around all the lake shore towns from Sunday-Thursday, enjoying the beach, the woods, the shopping and each other. Of course there is no way I could go without working a bit, so while we were up there, I scouted out some amazing reception venues. I'll be putting together a blog series when things settle down around our office, but let's just say that if you're not from Michigan and are thinking about a destination wedding, Northern Michigan is beautiful! From hotels + resorts, to castles + vineyards, stay tuned for the fun series later this year.
