Besides being a great tool for local networking, Twitter is also a place to connect with nationwide professionals. Such is the case with Matt Sloan, as I hadn't heard of him until we started following each other weeks ago. I now get excited when he "tweets" he's posted a new session or wedding. He has an awesome blog that documents his breathtaking work--from weddings + babies, to families + his personal life. Enjoy his work this week, and make sure you scroll through his archives for some drool worthy shots.
