Besides booking the right venues + vendors, one of the biggest parts I play in planning a wedding is the overall design of the day--from flowers and linens, to the smaller details like aisle runners + escort cards. Knowing exactly what the gown looks like helps this process along, as it shows me what your personal style is. Sure, you might want to keep the dress a surprise for your husband-to-be, but sharing your dress with your planner is very helpful. I know most florists enjoy a sneak peak too!
