jessica's inspiration :: reception details
All the time spent planning and agonizing over ribbon colors, fonts and flowers came together at our reception. Thankfully, our amazing photographer, Nicole Green, captured everything perfectly for me to remember that awesome shade of raspberry ribbon and those adorable napkins I found on Etsy. I really enjoyed planning the details, so seeing it all come together was fulfilling.
I first got the urge to create custom cocktail napkins with our monogram on them after seeing the eat. drink. be married. napkins on Style Me Pretty. I purchased our napkins from Etsy seller Designs by Tine, the same seller that made Bree's custom cocktail napkins.
The vision for our smaller centerpieces came to me when I saw this centerpiece. I loved the look of ribbon around the vase and sealing it with a monogram square. When the time came, our finished product was sans monogram square. I figured out an elegant way to tie the ribbon around the vase and loved the way it looked without the monogram.
From day one, I knew I wanted our guests to find their seats with anything but a standard escort card. Once I saw this photo on The Knot, I began making the perfect seating chart for our venue. The chart was framed and was displayed on an easel just outside the ballroom. As guests arrived, they found their name on the list.
My favorite detail from our wedding was the Blurb book that I made after seeing this post on Brooklyn Bride. We used our Blurb book as a guest book, having guests sign the right hand side of each spread. The left hand side of the book held various layouts of our engagement pictures, which guests enjoyed looking through.

I love all your ideas here and I feel like my taste is so similar to yours!! Thanks for sharing. :)
The eco-friendly + gorgeous seating chart is one of my favorite ideas.
Love how you utilized Blurb - a perfect momento of your day.
I also love My Publisher for this type of 'look see' book, filled with quality photographic paper. It's what I used for my wedding albums - the ultimate coffee table book!
