mwep meeting recap

Tuesday evening I hosted 19 area wedding vendors at the lovely little loft at NAYA in SE Grand Rapids for the first Michigan Wedding and Event Professionals get together. I was facilitating on behalf of Amanda Freeman of Bliss Weddings in Detroit and was happy to take lead, as Amanda was busy hosting the Detroit area vendors on the East side of our state.

People began showing up at 7pm and it was a nice, intimate group. We didn't follow any rules and enjoyed chatting and getting to know one another instead. The only formal procedure we followed was introducing ourselves to the group one-by-one. I asked a few questions and have been enjoying the responses all week long via email. Keep 'em coming!

Our meeting was quite successful, and I didn't leave until after 11:30pm! If you missed out this time around, look forward to another one after the new year.
