My Little Makeover
Last week, I had the pleasure of experiencing Julie's skills firsthand as she gave me a much-needed makeover. I've been a diehard Clinique user since I can remember, however, I sat next to Julie at the recent MWEP meeting and realized I was living in the dark ages. By the end of the evening, I was begging for a new look!
Since Julie is a Chanel makeup artist, I had a feeling she'd suggest I use Chanel products, but on the contrary, she suggested the best products for my skin (and budget!) So, what's in my new bag? NARS foundation + blush, Boots No7 concealer, Stila eyeliner, The Body Shop mascara, Paula Dorf eye shadow and L'Oreal lip gloss. Total spent? Under $150, and worth every penny.
Not getting married but want a new look? Julie offers two-hour sessions for $95 per person which includes personalized application + lesson in techniques, application of daytime + evening makeup, product suggestions + dissection of your personal makeup assortment.
A huge thanks to Julie for helping me feel a bit more sassy in 2009!

This is priceless! I'm so glad you're sharing this with us, because I know how hard it can be to find a great makeup artist in some areas in MI. I had a horrible experience at my local day spa/salon... a girl thought she could do makeup, even charged for it, but it was obvious that she knew nothing about it. Needless to say I ended up doing my own.
Julie does amazing work and I was so pleased with the outcome! My boudoir and wedding pictures will forever showcase her talent. Thank you Julie!
I recognize Julie from the Chanel counter! I used to work the coffee bar at what used to be MF (now Macy's) yeeeears ago. Awesome to see she's doing well!
