Weekend Eye Candy

Ever since the beginning of Pearls Events, I've had a cheerleader in Keri. She is a long-time friend of mine, who also happens to be the sister of an former boyfriend (from high school!), and my makeup artist for my wedding in 2007.
When she emailed to tell me her younger sister, Emily (the bride above), was engaged to be married, I couldn't have been happier for her - Keri loves her sister Emily and also loves weddings! And since Keri was a blog follower, I knew she'd lead her sister in the right direction as far as vendors & details in the Grand Rapids area.
Earlier this week, Keri sent over the photo link from This Photo Story. I ran over there to check them out, and I was SO excited - the colors were fabulous, the details were lovely and it was fun to see everything come together in amazing photos. Ooh, yes, and you DO spy cupcakes from lil' Miss Cupcake - one of Grand Rapids' favorites!
It's gloomy here in West Michigan this weekend, so enjoy this aqua and tangerine wedding - maybe it will cheer you up, like it did me!

this was a fabulous wedding to shoot.... i loved the aqua and tangerine! keri (em's sister) was awesome and the bride and groom, emily and joe have become our friends! what an awesome day! :)
LOVE THIS! Those colors are gorgeous together. And, I know many a Gator fan who would be thrilled to see those colors used in weddings outside of Gainesville, Florida. From someone who sees A LOT of orange and blue it's nice to see them use together so tastefully (and cheerily!) here!
I love it, so cheerful! I am really loving the cupcakes with the cool silver dragees! I can't wait to have another special event I can use Lil Miss Cupcake for!! They always look SO yummy.
Totally in love with this wedding. Great colors and cute cupcakes!
Congrats once again Emily and Joe! These pictures are great! :)
