Pearls Events | Updates

Since some of you may never see my new business cards in person, I wanted to share the final design. It will be a two-sided, vertical card (that is side one & side two above) and Victoria is looking into getting them letterpressed on luxurious paper instead of flat printing, which I currently have. Thanks to April & Paul for the letterpress tips!

Another thank you to everyone on Twitter who helped me decide - I received SO many great responses and took many into consideration before I landed on this design. In the end, it was a combination of Daisy & Lisa's responses that helped finalize it.

Ooh, and you may be wondering...
Why, yes that is my face; talk about the ultimate personalization! Victoria took a profile photo of me (below, right) and created the silhouette (below, left). I realize this is a business card, but wouldn't silhouettes of a bride & groom be adorable on save-the-dates or a wedding invitation? I love the retro feel, but with the clean lines of a modern font, it's quite stylish.

LOVE every bit - the colors the silhouette, the new logo - all gorgeous. If you need letterpress help, let me know.

I love silhouettes! I did a whole set of notecards of the grandkids for my in-laws this past Christmas and followed up with matching cups & saucers. I then did a set of silhouette plate wall hangings for my sister-in-law (of her little girls). I need to take a photo of them and post them on my blog. They turned out AWESOME and so PERSONAL!

Beautiful, Aletha! And you'll love having letterpressed cards. I had Bella Figura do mine about 3 months ago and I love them. Can't wait to put your new card in my Rolodex!
