Lifestyle Photo Session - Bowling, Beach, Big Trucks

This recent lifestyle session from Grand Rapids photographer, Daniel J. Pesta, strikes a chord with me for a couple of reasons - the bowling & the big truck.

I absolutely love bowling! I know, it's a strange past time to enjoy in 2009, but it stems from being on a Saturday morning league in the 8th grade with my BFF, Kate. We had high handicaps, our own shiny teal bowling balls, and Kate even had a wrist brace. We were ridiculous, but I'm a nostalgic gal for sure.

And the big truck? It reminds me of home. I grew up in a small farm town NW of Grand Rapids and all the farm boys had big trucks. In our school's parking lot, you'd see more trucks than anything else. Flashbacks to football games, slumber parties and senior prom.
