Jammie has impeccable taste. She has been a blast to work with while planning her Grand Rapids wedding and this Saturday came together seamlessly. If you've been reading along for a while, you may remember the sneak peek of Jammie's amazing gown, the post where I passed out when talking about mixing neutrals, and of course, the Fall engagement photos.
Tara, Amy & I headed to my favorite cafe to pick up lunch for the bridal party before heading to the bridal suite at the JW Marriott. After we helped the ladies get dressed before photos, we headed to Fountain Street Church to put the last details in place before guests began arriving.
After Jammie & Aaron were pronounced husband & wife, they signed their Ketubah and made their way onto the trolley with their wedding party. Tara was on board to pour & serve champagne and help with photos around the city.
Amy & I walked into the International Ballroom and were in awe - it had been transformed by one of my favorite Grand Rapids florists. We used ivory pintuck linens, gold chivari chairs & gold chargers and was stunning. The wow factor? The flowers. All-white orchids, peonies, hydrangeas, roses, carnations, daisies - we went a little crazy!
In the words of Amy Carroll, is was fabulous. I cannot wait to see photos in the coming weeks and Kate will be posting the preview as soon as it's ready.
Congratulations to Jammie & Aaron - enjoy Antigua!
