Planning the Wedding Shower

As all of your friends have gotten married over the years, the number of bridal showers you attend can quickly escalate into the double digits! And there is nothing wrong with that, until you play your last game of "toilet paper wedding dress," and then you are ready for someone to come up with something new in the bridal shower department. This shower, created out of the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme, is a great idea to create something, fresh, new and whimsical. I am of course a sucker for a great theme, but this is something you can use even if your gal pal didn't dream of stepping through the looking glass mirror as a little girl.
Not only does this shower theme not allow for toilet paper wedding dresses, it is also very simple to pull off at a relatively low cost. Your local fabric store is a great resource for bold prints to cover your tables and even chairs if you like. Swing into several thrift stores, these are perfect places for finding vintage teacups and beautiful, delicate serving pieces.
Have fun with it and pull little details in with your bride in mind, such as choosing patterns using her favorite colors, or possibly a centerpiece with teacups from her family. It's a fun way to renew your guests energy in bridal showers and celebrate your friend along the way!
