In true Pearls Events fashion, we are excited to announce another giveaway as we continue to celebrate the beginning of our third year! Daisy, a fab 2008 Pearls Events bride, has recently opened her lovely little Etsy shop, Pixel & Hank and I cannot get enough of her beautiful work. I had a hard time picking my favorite piece.

I have to admit I've been on quite a shopping spree lately and so I have a few new fall favorites! I found a great jacket at one of my favorite stores, Martin & Osa, on a recent trip to San Diego! I also have a new favorite necklace that I recently picked up at an Etsy artshow in Indianapolis!
I purchased a red trench with 3/4 sleeves that feels super sassy for fall. It's just warm enough to take the chill without quite admitting that winter is around the corner. One of my favorite buys ever!
I'm a total high-heels kind of girl. Closed-toe for spring, strappy and peep-toe ones for summer, and now high-heel boots for fall. I always mourn the passing of summer into fall, but somehow the colder weather is easier to endure when my feet are warm inside a pair of high-heel boots. My favorite are knee-high ones with skirts or a sweater dress, because the combo make me feel feminine and powerful.
I adore fall for a million reasons, one of them being I finally get to wear BOOTS! my autumn favorites are a toss-up between my green Hunter wellies and my tan leather riding boots. love love LOVE them :)

I recently purchased a very thin, open-front, gray sweater from a store in Orchard Lake, MI made by the designer Pretty Good which I love! I also think that Daisy's AmySue & Lucille hair pieces would be perfect fall accessories!
I always love a lucsiuos scarf paired with my favorite corduroy jacket. One thing I love about Fall is definitely being adorably bundled! :)

Probably my winter coat - it's so warm and comfy!

My favorite fall accessory is my thick orange scarf. It's made of this really soft material (not cashmere, though I'd love to afford that!) and it spreads out big enough to become a cover up, but stays compact enough to be a cute and simple scarf around my neck.

My favorite item was from Pixel & Hank, I was torn between 4, but narrowed it down to the "Olive Mae" hair piece. Beautiful colors and great craftsmanship on them all. Daisy is a very creative designer!

I'm a boots girl too...I invested in three new pairs this season because I absolutely LOVE them! Great to sport on a cold day and practical to shoot sessions in. I love when style and practicality meet!
Fall makes me run to my closet for sweaters. Big hand knit sweaters that remind me of my mom and autumns of yore. Too bad I live in Miami now and wearing sweaters is more of a weight loss strategy than a reasonable fashion statement. I'll be back in MI for thanksgiving though, and you better bet I'll be wearing sweaters.
My favority accessory this Fall is a wide brown leather belt that I purchased in Spain in 2003 and never really wore, but recently rediscovered in the back of my closet and wear it as often as possible now :)
My fave fall accessory is definitely "the scarf"... Love to wrap up in them!! If I could leave them on ALL the time, I would... so warm and comfortable!!
OH... and to collect various colors and styles to match winter coats is a slight obsession :)
