Cost of Tented Wedding Receptions

Although it's a snowy day in West Michigan, many brides-to-be are in the midst of planning their summer wedding. With so many options available, one choice is sometimes so close to home, it's right in your backyard!

As a Michigan wedding planner, I often hear brides-to-be are surprised that an at-home wedding may not be the most cost effective option. Today on the Stella Event Design blog, Jessica breaks down the cost for an at-home Michigan wedding. I encourage you to check out the post if you are considering an at-home wedding for a great cost comparison of the rentals versus a traditional reception venue. It's a great read! Thank you, Jessica, for putting this out there!

Aletha, this is so true! What I learned when planning my wedding (the one that didn't happen) is that an at-home wedding with rentals is often one of the most expensive options! Between the tent, chairs, tables, etc., it's usually not the most cost-effective choice.
