Out of the Office
This weekend, I had the pleasure of assisting the team at Masterpiece Weddings with an amazing wedding in Florida. Yep, I hopped a plane last Thursday to St. Petersburg, where my best childhood friend, Kathleen, lives. I drove up to Gainesville Friday afternoon for rehearsal, and then spent Saturday rockin' out Lisa & Ed's wedding with Melissa, Courtney, Amanda & Lauren.
The rest of this week I will be vacationing with Kathleen, as she shows me around the Tampa Bay area. This is my very first trip to the Sunshine State and I'm thrilled to be here. Kathleen was engaged to be married on Thursday evening, right after I arrived, so we've been dress shopping, looking at linens and flowers plus scouting out chiavari chairs.
Kate will be blogging for Pearls Events for the next couple of weeks, since my travel schedule is busy. And on Sunday I'm headed to Washington DC with Lindsey for The Simple Plan! Please join her all week and next, as she shares plenty of wedding planning goodness right here on the Pearls Events Blog.
