Recap | Eventology 2010

I just got home from enjoying Indy for Eventology! I cannot believe it's already over and what an amazing time I had! Last year, the conference was one day. This year, it was two full days, and there was SO much more to learn. Here's my short recap...

Lindsey and I hit the road Sunday afternoon. We arrived at the Omni Severin and walked over to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for a fab dinner with many of the early arriving attendees. It was great getting to know some new faces before classes started on Monday morning. We enjoyed cocktails in the hotel bar after dinner, with so many lovely women.

Monday the sessions started after breakfast with an awesome welcome segment by Ali Phillips and Linnyette Richardson-Hall. Following the ice breaker was Harmony Walton of the Bridal Bar and sales guru Saundra Hadley. In the afternoon, we had the privilege of hearing from NaShara Mitchell of LawGLOSS.

Cocktail hour started the evening at the Omni Severin, and a casual & fun karaoke party at Jillians was hosted by Jennifer from Regal Affair until WAY too late...

Tuesday morning began bright 'n' early with event designer, Sasha Souza, followed by Terrica Skaggs with ChicWeddingGeek, then Lara Casey spoke on building your team. It was a long day, with a fabulous luncheon in between all of the learning.

Wednesday, Lindsey, Tammy and I had the pleasure of getting a private Indy tour by the super-sweet April Foster. We walked the canal, enjoyed lunch outdoors, had dessert in the circle thanks to The Flying Cupcake, and shopped at Silver in the City. Lindsey and I hit the road in the afternoon, and we were home for bed!

Another great trip to Indy, with many, many new friends made. I'm already looking forward to 2011!
