A Personal Update

It's been quite a week- one where I haven't been at the computer much. Over the past couple of months, I have been working with my grandmother to plan a ladies luncheon for 60 of her close friends & family. On Tuesday & Wednesday I helped execute the linens, flowers, favors, place cards, plus the place settings. It turned out perfectly and all the woman had an enjoyable afternoon. I was SO happy to put my talents to use with my grandmother - she is one of my favorite people on the planet!

I've also been preparing for this weekend's wedding, which is here in Grand Rapids. The clients are super sweet, and I'm already excited for their rehearsal this evening. They are a direct referral from a 2009 client, which is basically the best feeling in the world, business-wise!

And my big (personal) news is that I'm expecting our very first child mid-March. If you follow me on Twitter you may have caught the announcement four weeks ago, however I realize not everyone out there is on Twitter. My husband, Greg, and I are over-the-moon excited about this new addition to our family, and although I know life will change drastically, I'm ready for our next step.
